A research consortium headed by Gambro in Germany, consisting of researchers from different disciplines, has received a project grant of 2.1 million euros from the German Federal Ministry of Education and Research. The project aims to investigate a new generation of dialysis membranes to improve the treatment of chronic inflammation in End Stage Renal Disease patients.
